Will it make my hair crunchy or dry?
No — that's the reason this formula exists. Crunch and dryness in this category come from denatured alcohol, used as a cheap fast-dry hold. SaltDrift doesn't contain drying alcohols. Grip and separation come from mineral salt, with humectants working against moisture loss. Hair stays touchable, not brittle.
My hair is fine and dead straight. Will this do anything?
That's the hair type it was built for. Fine, straight hair goes flat because it's too clean and too slippery to hold a shape. SaltDrift adds grip at the root so the hair has something to stand on. Use two sprays, not five — fine hair needs less product, not more.
How long does the hold actually last?
A full day for most hair types, and it stays restylable the whole time. It never sets rigid, so running your hands through it reactivates the shape rather than destroying it. In heavy heat or humidity, expect softening by evening and one touch-up spray to bring it back.
Will it flake, leave residue, or build up?
